Finish
All tools are ground on both the face and the O.D. (outside diameter)
providing the sharpest cutting edges available for faster, cleaner cutting.
Radial Relief
The cutting edge has radial clearance for additional strength and support
of the cutting edge that reduces vibration for smoother cutting.
Precision Ground
Every tool's shank is precision ground. Every tool is tested to concentricity
within .005 (five thousandths) T.I.R. (Total Indicator Run out).
Long Life
WKW utilizes an extra thick backing material so the tool is long-lasting
and durable for reliable operation.
Optimum Hook Angles
There are optimum hook angles on both straight and formed bits and wide
open gullets for easy chip clearance. The result is fast, easy cutting
without pushing.
Tapered Web
Carbide-tipped tools have a tapered web to offset torque and side
thrust.
Hardened And Tempered
The shanks of carbide-tipped tools are hardened and tempered.
Ball Bearing Guides
Shielded ball bearing guides enable high-speed, mar-free routing.
