Thin Knives |
|
A complete line of standard D-2 and M-2 knives for jointing
and planing applications. Manufactured from the finest steels available and
quality manufactured in the U.S.A. In addition to the bar length thin knife
offering, knife sets available for Delta, Rockwell, Powermatic, Grizzly, Parks,
Foley-Belsaw among others. Please contact WKW if you don’t see what you need as
other sizes can be custom manufactured.

Square Edge Knives |
|
A line of D-2 and M-2 knives available in 31" bars. Same
quality manufacturing standards and steels.

Williams & Hussey Knives |
|
Plain back as well as corrugated knives for W&H
mini-moulders. 25" bars only, drilled with twenty-four 7/16" diameter holes to
work with W&H cutterheads.

Corrugated Knives |
|
The finest quality steels available manufactured with 80
years experience. 25" bars available in D-2 and M-2 steels with either 60 degree corrugations (stock) or 90 degree corrugations (custom).

Shaper Knives |
|
For industrial shaper applications in either AKM or M-2
materials. 25" bars that are beveled to 30 degrees. Edge notching is available
on a custom basis.

Filler Knives |
|
Used to balance out a cutterhead if all knife slots are not
utilized.

Lathe and Slotted Knives |
|
Both Lathe and Slotted knives made from M-2 steel are
available. Lathe knives with a thickness of 1/4 inch are available in 3 and 3
1/2 inch widths in lengths ranging from 1 inch to 5 1/2 inches. Slotted knives
are available in either 3/8 or 7/16 inch thicknesses with 1 - 3 slots. The
standard slot is 5/8 x 21/32 to work with a 5/8 bolt.

The industry leading carbide knife system available in 38,
50, and 60 mm widths and working lengths from 180-230mm lengths. A 10mm thick
system of a carbide knife matched with a HSS backing plate.

Carbide Inlayed and Solid Carbide Knives |
|
Both types of knives are often used in applications where
wood materials with glue lines such as veneered products and edge glued
materials are being machined. Carbide inlayed corrugated knives are available in
the following widths: 32mm and 38mm (both with 15mm inlays), 45mm (with a 20mm
inlay), 50mm (with a 25mm inlay) and 60mm (with a 35mm inlay). Carbide inlayed
thin knives are available in the following widths: 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 38mm
with a 10mm inlay. Stock solid carbide knives are available in 1/8" thickness in
6" and 8" lengths.

WKW is pleased to offer a cost competitive M2 corrugated knife for those applications where a value edge knife is appropriate. These knives are manufactured in our plant in Beloit, WI. All knives have 16-60 corrugations. Knives are available with 3/16 inch, 1/4 inch and 5/16 inch thickness with widths available dependent on the thickness.
